You • someone pulled me aside in person and mentioned they can get me a pay bump and talked about staying on the team and also followed with assigning hthd i was open to the idea of staying on the team, it would feel good to be recognized and valued for the efforts i put in to prove whoever i tried to negotiate with before i signed my offer that didn't wanna hear me out over my background and skills / experience etc. wrong and all but i believe when i tried to follow up new information came out that it might not be right to keep an fcg from exploring other rotations the talk was also about a possible promotion it was left in the air, i followed up asking for this to be written in email and sent to me with all the information i dont know what i have but i was told hthd would be a catalyst in monetary benefits i just wanna be valued and recognized it hurts my motivation and im not trying to use that as leverage im trying here but i keep thinking about the start of the offer when i tried to negotiate myself i wrote essays with proof and links and proven work and accomplishments whoever was bringing me in didnt fold or wanna open a dialogue take it or leave it moving to sg6, in my head is like i could be moving to sg6 sg7* it doesnt even feel good haha its just when i was 18 and a analyst at the incubator i worked fulltime at as an intern in the summer i was paid above all the other interns, and had different hats / responsbilities Thomas Kopczynski • u need to ask kulveer for a promo You • and i provided HELLA value Thomas Kopczynski • he can do at any time You • and because of that me and my past boss friends to this day i provided him crazzyyyyyy value because it made me happy Thomas Kopczynski • hthd is solid but it depends on your org, not all orgs have it You • understood ill talk to him i also heard a story about a guy recently leaving the team cuz he found another job and he tried negotiating with ford but they werent open and then he found another job and ford was open to negotiating but it was a little too late in my head i would prefer to join a team with a bigger budget Thomas Kopczynski • it depends on the circumstance but kulveer can promo u at any time You • or i dont wanna have to find an opportunity outside of ford to be heard u know that also makes me feel like they didnt see me otherwise in the first place Thomas Kopczynski • did u do mid year assessment yet? that convo happens by end of august You • since i dont know what that is, i assume nah Thomas Kopczynski • in that ask kulveer for promo You • ok i will is high % increase negotiable or difficult i know it will have to go above heads for approval my dads friends from college who has been here for 15-20 years retired and came back and had to get approval for the same level of pay he used to get Thomas Kopczynski • he doesnt have to get approval typically, in series would be like 5-8% myb?
